what a busy, but incredible week. plenty of things happened and all of them very exciting. one of the most exciting is the fact that i decided to go to Kenya in February. i am so pumped...i can hardley wait. i know that it will be one of the greatest experiences of my life. i will tell the story about my decision sometime soon.
also this weekend is our annual turkey giveaway which i am excited about. i really think that giving turkeys away seems like such a cool thing, but what is cooler is that fact that i know our people have at least 100 opportunities to shar Christ in so many ways. if you are still wanting to give a dinner, see me on sunday.
lucas, amy, and i threw the potatoes in the kitchen today< LITERALLY...what a sight to see.
and on a side note- I BOUGHT A FISH, with crazy google eyes. he is all black and very interesting looking, but i am taking suggestions for names. the ones i am thinking of right now are inappropriate, and wouldn't be cool to tell children when they come over and ask what my fish's name is. so comment with your suggestions.
have a great weekend :)

I know that most of you who read this thing will be shocked but I am writing again today. I have just been in the mood, I guess.
so I thought it would entertain you to know that I asked the Amish kid why they don't use electricity for their homes? Of course he gave the stereotypical lifestyle answer, not being affected by the world. Anyways, this guy's really cool and so I asked if they can't use electricity for their homes, why is it that they can use electricity for the paddles that shock them after they would have a heart attack? I know some of you are dying right now. I am still waiting for the answer but I think it will be an interesting discussion. I have never met someone so open about talking about that sort of lifestyle. It is very cool.
also I am still having that Singles Small group. Last week we had really great discussion and insight and I am excited about this week. This is the stuff I have been dying to get to. It meets at my trailer, so call the office if you are interested. I would love to see most of you, that read my blog. Please no freaky perverts. What I couldn't help it?
and I am spent!!!On my way to eat some dinner.

I am back with a vengance. well not really, but i couldn't think of a better way to start this thing. i had a great weekend at the conference. it was really incredible. the Lord showed up in a powerful way. He spoke thru several of my friends encouraging me to fight the good fight. i am grateful for that, but even better than the conference was the word that we heard on sunday morning. holy smokes, God spoke truth into people's hearts thru Jerry Grieser. He said many things but his personal disclosure really helped move the Word from being a book to being alive. i am grateful for the things He has taught Jerry. i have raised many flags on hills calling them failures. the only problem for me is that there is some truth to that. i have made mistakes and so the enemy taunts me calling them failures, but He is my very present help in time of need. He turns my hills of "failures" into mountains that are to be stood and marveled at. i am so grateful for that. christ in me took on a whole new meaning this weekend and just in time. i am armed with Christ. any accusations raised at me, i will point toward him because agst. Him there can be no accusations. i never really understood that the way i do today.
that is all for now.
that is all for now.
