Don't Give Up, Africa!

We have decided not to go to Kenya over Thanksgiving, because a baby is on it's way! I am a bit sad, the last two trips to Africa I've been invited on, I have been able to go. But all is well. I can't imagine being 5 months along and in Africa. The picture is of my friend's child, Grace and Pastor Peter Adigwe from Nigeria. I just thought it was cool, so I did a bit of editing, my new obsession. I often wonder what the world could be like if we all had to hold hands for a few minutes. When I was a kid and my brother and I fought, my mom would make us hug until we liked each other again. We would start out squeezing each other so tight, to see who could squeeze the tightest and "hurt" the other because we were so angry, but by the time we were finished ...we'd laughed so hard we were crying and rolling on the floor. Friends AGAIN!!! So here's to the future. Don't Give Up, I am hoping that in my lifetime, we will see more peace and grace for each other.
**Our friends are still going, and if you'd like to support them...check it out, by clicking the title of the post.**

Hi, I just read the comment you left on "Our Journey" Lili feifei's blog about the way your friend replies to intrusive questions about her daughters who were adopted from Vietnam. Thank you so much for sharing that because I will do that next time I am asked annoying questions from people.

Yay!
